A motivating combination of training and wellness recharged the CooperVision Russia Sales and Marketing team during their kickoff meeting from May 14–18. The immersive experience featured an induction for new team members, a marketing and commercial strategy overview, and updates from key functions such as HR, Finance, Supply Chain, IT and Customer Service.
The day began with an overview of current market conditions, CooperVision brand metrics and new product display materials for eye care practitioners. The team shared research on consumer use and preferences for eye care as well as upcoming research on brand advocates as an effective tool for sales growth, part of its Medical Marketing Loyalty Project.
Following product training provided by Professional Affairs, the team took part in an assessment showing a deep understanding of company goals, product offerings and the market. After sharing regional success stories and business ideas to be implemented this year, the team attended workshops on effective communications, the Situation-Behavior-Impact feedback tool, IT life hacks and DISC personality profiles.
The team also made time for bonding through a variety of wellness activities including soccer, swimming, volleyball, basketball and mountain river rafting.
