Opening a sake barrel with wooden hammers in a traditional kagami biraki ceremony, a group of senior leaders officially wished good luck upon the new CooperVision Japan office on June 21. Located in the Akasaka-Roppongi area of Tokyo, the site unites call center employees with the rest of the country team.
Chief Commercial Officer Dennis Murphy, Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary Randy Golden, Asia Pacific President Wayne Reuben, and Japan President Hiroyuki Nakata addressed employees during the event. Wayne noted that the space reflects how the team operates, i.e., in an open, friendly environment that stimulates innovative ideas.
One compelling aspect of the Ark Hills South Tower is a rooftop garden perfect for after-hours socializing, creating even stronger bonds between co-workers. The marketing team was first to enjoy this amenity, hosting a team-building barbeque cookout.
95 employees work in the new office, which brings a bright and lively environment supporting continued growth and success for the CooperVision Japan team.
