CooperVision Korea recently hosted a fan signing event with well-known model and singer Irene, who is the face of the clariti® 1 day brand. She is a member of the Korean idol group Red Velvet, which has garnered fame in Korea and abroad.
In May, clariti® 1 day purchasers received a scratch-off card, which gave them the chance to be entered an exclusive drawing. Winners could meet Irene and receive an autograph. From 6,000 entries, 100 were selected to attend the meet-and-greet.
The signing attracted clariti® 1 day wearers of all types – from middle school girls to fans who make the journey from Singapore. A CooperVision pop quiz ensured the brand was well-represented, and there was a lively question and answer session with Irene about her career and life.
In addition to fans, eye care professionals and photographers from the county’s top news media were invited to the event to capture the excitement. Approximately 15 reporters joined the festivities, generating more than 100 articles online to further boost clariti® and other CooperVision brands.
