A transition is underway for employees at CooperVision Italy. Newly appointed Country Manager Andrea Milletti and members of the leadership team greeted employees on June 8 during their first monthly meeting at the Lainate facility near Milan.
In his opening remarks, Andrea encouraged the team to live the company values every day, proactively driving change and developing new approaches to strengthen partnerships with both internal and external customers.
“Each team member contributes to CooperVision’s success in Italy,” Andrea said as he addressed employees. The Italy team’s momentum clearly emerged during two key events in May 2018, the EMEA Business Planning Forum in Marbella and the European Business Forum in Lainate, with representation at both events.
Andrea also shared the exciting news that CooperVision is now Number 1 in the Italy contact lens market in terms of sales volume through partnerships with leading national retail chains, Salmoiraghi & Viganò and GrandVision.
Overviews on both national chains were presented by Franco Zanetti and Paolo Valaguzza, Italy Key Account Managers, responsible respectively for Salmoiraghi & Viganò and GrandVision.
“Customer satisfaction is important to our success,” CooperVision Italy Customer Service Manager Emanuela Fonti explained. “We’re focused on providing innovative products, on-time deliveries, premier customer service, and hands-on practitioner support. That’s the best business card of all.”
